The Inter-departmental subject scientific collection “Veterinary medicine” was founded in 1964 and included in the category ‘B’ of the ‘List of scientific professional editions of Ukraine, which can be published results of dissertations for degrees of Doctor of Sciences, Candidate of Sciences, and Doctor of Philosophy’ in the fields of veterinary (specialities 211 — Veterinary Medicine, 212 — Veterinary Hygiene, Sanitation and Expertise) and biological (speciality 091 — Biology) sciences (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 886 from 02.07.2020).


Aims and Scope

The collection «Veterinary Medicine» is a peer-reviewed scientific publication that publishes original articles in all fields related to veterinary and biological sciences.

The aim of the publication is to provide informational support to the veterinary and biological community, promote the implementation and development of modern methods for monitoring, diagnosis, and prevention of animal diseases, as well as to highlight current issues in biotechnology, quality, and safety of livestock products.

Publisher: National Scientific Center «Institute of experimental and clinical veterinary medicine (EDRPOU: 00497087).

Frequency: the journal is published once a year.

Publication languages: Ukrainian, English.

The scientific collection «Veterinary Medicine» adheres to a full Open Access policy. This means that readers have free, immediate, and permanent access to the full texts of all publications on the journal's website.


No Publication Fees

The editorial policy of the journal provides for a complete absence of any payments from authors at all stages:

  • no submission fee;
  • no peer review fee;
  • no article processing charges (APCs);
  • no publication fee.

Publication of all accepted articles is carried out on a free of charge basis, regardless of:

  • article type;
  • material volume;
  • number of illustrations, tables, or appendices.

Independence of Editorial Decision

The decision to accept or reject an article is made solely based on the results of peer review, the scientific quality of the material, and its relevance to the journal's profile.

Financial conditions do not influence editorial decisions, as publication in the journal is completely free for authors.


Additional Services

The journal does not require mandatory payment for any additional services as a condition for the consideration or publication of a manuscript.
